Direct Diamonds has been in the family for years, so when it came time to find our wedding bands, it was an easy choice. We worked with Carolina, who was amazing from start to finish. She made us feel totally at ease and confident about going the custom route. Carolina walked us through every step, sent design mock-ups, and made sure we were 100% happy before moving forward. Honestly, we would’ve written this review sooner, but we were waiting for our wedding photos (sorry!). All this just to say: we are so happy with our rings and couldn’t recommend Carolina and the whole Direct Diamonds team enough!

I've been visiting this jewellery store with my mom since I was a little girl and I've talked about wanting my future engagement and wedding rings made by George ever since. I got engaged back in December 2024 and to my great surprise, my fiancée surprised me with a custom engagement ring made by George himself! We recently picked up our wedding bands and both rings are stunning! I'm so excited about our rings and I can't be more pleased with the craftsmanship, quality, and service. George and his daughter have gone above and beyond, and my fiancée and I can't be more happy!

I recently had the most incredible experience shopping for an engagement ring at this establishment! After spending weeks exploring various jewelers, a friend recommended I connect with this team. They were incredibly attentive to my schedule, budget, and preferences, and they exceeded all expectations with the final product. The ring is nothing short of spectacular; the diamond’s top-notch quality and the exquisite setting has me in awe. Without a doubt, this has been the most exceptional experience I could have asked for. The journey to Brampton was absolutely worth it!

My husband and I bought my wedding ring set from Ben Moss in 2013 and between 2013-2016, I lost 6 side diamonds from the engagement ring. Since we had purchased the warranty plan, we were always able to take it back and get it replaced, but when I lost the 7th diamond in 2017, I went to bring it in and realized they had gone bankrupt and there was nothing left to do. Charm Diamond Centres was allowing Ben Moss clients to buy into their warranty plans\, but the Associate said my ring was not the greatest quality and this would likely keep happening and that I should look at re-setting my ring. Late in 2018, I lost an 8th diamond, so at that point was wearing a wedding ring missing 2 side diamonds. Emotionally, it was upsetting knowing the ring that my husband and I picked out and had such sentimental value, ultimately was junk. My Mom recommended speaking to George at Direct Diamonds and Gold as she had used him for multiple jewellery repairs over the years. George was compassionate and understanding when I told him my story, and right on the spot, he came up with a vision to preserve my main diamond and to completely reset it into a new, high quality set. I picked up my ring & wedding band on Saturday, and I was completely in shock when I saw my new ring, it is absolutely stunning, and you can see the amount of detail and care that was put into this ring re-design. Not to mention, George charged a fraction of the cost had we had to purchase a whole new ring. I cannot thank George enough for the incredible job he did, and I don’t think my “thank-yous” in the store truly expressed my gratitude. I hope everyone reads this review and takes the time to speak with George about any jewellery needs. I will certainly be recommending him to my close family and friends. George, my sincerest thank you for the beautiful ring and wedding band!

The pictures below are the re-designed ring George created with the halo around my original stone, and new bands with much higher quality gold. I chose to have the solid sides as I love the contrast, but side stones can be added if we choose to for a special anniversary down the road. The picture of my original ring will not upload for comparison.
