It’s hard to find professionals who know how to cut my Afro-Indigenous hair properly. Denny at Fine Line is a BEAST! As someone who has cut his own hair his whole life, trusting others to cut my hair is just not an easy decision. I didn’t want a high fade, but low taper, and I wanted to keep length that I could work with and just look clean. Denny took his time and made sure I got exactly what I wanted. Thanks Denny! And thank you Azad for giving my Queen her amazing Mohawk. Her lines are clean AF! If you need a barber shop you can trust, Fine Line is the spot. No question. ?

I love this barbershop. From the very first minute, it was a great experience. You walk in, and everyone is extremely friendly and welcoming. Denny is just an incredibly skilled and likeable guy, he knows exactly what he’s doing and I really enjoy the conversations we have. It’s always funny and very relaxing. While other barbershops are really expensive and don’t necessarily offer the best quality, the price here is always justified and the quality is top notch. I’ve since moved to Downtown, but I’ll keep coming back. Great guys!

It’s extremely rare to find someone who embodies an artist’s vision and an engineer’s precision… add to that a man who takes his time while exuding a great personality and you’ve got a freaking unicorn.

Today I met a unicorn named Denny.

Denny analyzed my head as if he were going to build a skyscraper on it. He looked at the pits and bumps of my skull to determine an ideal length, the direction of my hair growth in the different sections of my head, and how that would all affect a style that would look great on me while achieving my ultimate goal of having a low-maintenance hairstyle.

The rest of the experience was top notch as well. All of the barbers were busy yet friendly. Customers were having a great time watching soccer on the large flat screens. Also booking and parking were super easy. If you’re taking the LRT they’re steps from Dalhousie station.

It’s easy to see how they’ve got a perfect rating. Great work gentlemen!

I was looking for a new place to get my hair cut after my previous stylist who I had been going to for years moved away. After seeing other positive reviews, thought I'd give Fine Line a try. I booked my first cut with Dean and I couldn't have been happier! I've been back to see him every month for the last 6 months and he consistently gives me a great cut. If you're looking for an amazing haircut, go see Dean...you won't be disappointed!
