Absolutely love Emily! I started seeing Emily when she worked at another salon and followed her to her new private salon. I absolutely love her work! She has completely transformed my wavy/curly hair over the last 2 years and it’s my hair is healthier, more defined, and longer. I also go to her for colour and she’s always given me exactly what I described to her! I can’t recommend her enough to those with textured hair - she’ll make you fall in love with your hair all over again :) the photos are from her social media following 2/3 of my appointments with her.

Revival Hair Salon is amazing! Emily is a phenomenal hairstylist—so kind and incredibly knowledgeable about her craft. I’ve been going to her for years and have had several services done by her. As a Black woman, I’m very particular about who I trust with my hair, but Emily has earned that trust completely. She has taken the time to educate herself on different hair types and how to care for them, and it’s evident in the exceptional quality of her work.

Emily was the first stylist I trusted to dye my hair (from black to a bleached honey blonde). Despite the drastic color change, my curls remained super healthy, and the color was absolutely stunning. I often wear my hair curly, and Emily has given me several curly cuts over the years. Each time, her work has been flawless.

Last year, I was in a wedding party and needed extensions. My hairstylist for the event canceled at the last minute, but Emily came to the rescue. She squeezed me in the night before the wedding, styled my hair with beautiful curls, and gave me detailed instructions on how to maintain the look overnight. The results were perfect!

These are just a few examples of the outstanding service I’ve received from Emily. I’ve recommended Revival Hair Salon to many people, especially those with curly hair. If you’re looking for a salon that truly understands and cares for all hair types, give Revival a try—you won’t be disappointed!

Emily has been doing my hair since early 2019, and she’s seriously the best! Over the years, she’s taken me through all the fun, vibrant color phases, and now she’s helping me maintain a more natural, low-maintenance look—all while keeping my hair super healthy. She always knows exactly what will work for me!

But honestly, it’s so much more than just a hair appointment with Emily. It’s my “me time” where I get to relax and reset. Her head massages are the absolute best, and she’s the kind of person who can turn your whole day around if you’re feeling down. Emily is so sweet, kind, and genuinely cares about her clients. I can’t recommend her enough!

I want to start off by saying I usually don’t post bad reviews, especially for small businesses but I don’t want my other curly girls to have a bad experience.

At the start of the appointment she told me how much length she was going to take off and I was happy with that. I explained her that my goal is to grow out my hair and that I just wanted a little bit more shape. She took off inches more than I asked and that we agreed to. On top of that the cut it very choppy and I look bald. I was just finding confidence in my curly hair again and unfortunately this experience completely ruined it. My hair was still pretty damp when I left and it felt very rushed.
