I had a great experience at Strands Hair Body Laser. The staff was friendly, professional, and really listened to what I wanted. My stylist Kate did an amazing job with my haircut it turned out even better than I expected. The salon was clean, well-organized, and had a relaxing atmosphere. I also appreciated how they took their time and made sure I was happy with the final look. Definitely coming back and would recommend it to anyone looking for a fresh cut or style!

What a beautiful spa! Both Rupy and Tanu were amazing, and friendly, and very welcoming. They also have an abundance of services for great prices! After my facial with Rupy, the team was able to fit me in with Tanu for an unplanned haircut. She did an incredible job, but more so, was just a delight to sit and chat with. I'll definitely be back!

This was my first visit here, and I came in for a root touch up and toner. Kamal did a fantastic job, she was very attentive and the result was exactly what I was hoping for. The salon is bright with natural light so it's easy to see what your color actually looks like. Lovely experience, definitely recommend.

I booked a Brazilian and armpit sugaring appointment a couple of weeks ago. While I have a high pain tolerance (multiple tattoos and piercings), the pain from this service was far beyond anything I’ve experienced before—and lasted nearly six days after.

After speaking with friends and comparing experiences, I realized several standard care steps were missing from my appointment. Notably, there was no cleansing or disinfecting of the areas beforehand, and no powder was used at any point. I’ve since learned that powder is essential in sugaring, as it helps absorb moisture, allows the sugar paste to grip hair rather than skin, and minimizes irritation.

Additionally, the room was extremely small and hot, which likely contributed to the discomfort. For comparison, I had my armpits sugared again at a different salon two weeks later, and the experience was virtually painless, with clear hygiene protocols and proper technique.

I was also left frustrated as there was quite a bit of hair left after the treatment. I wasn't expecting perfection for my first appointment as I'm aware it requires multiple visits. However, it looked absolutely awful. The other salon removed all hair and even used tweezers for the ones missed at the end.

I'm not a professional, but I know the difference between a painful and a proper service. If this review helps even one person avoid the discomfort I experienced, then it was worth writing this review.
