Hands down the best barber in town. I've been seeing Gabe for 7 years and I'm constantly impressed by their skill with my fades. They have cut my hair through many styles and phases and there is no one else I would trust in the same way. Gabe is also just a really lovely human and a great person to chat with after a long day. I have always loved what a safe space they provide for clients. 10/10 recommend.

After 30 years of exclusively long hair, Gabe was the person that I trusted to take me short for the first time. I have curly and somewhat unusual hair and I typically never felt quite satisfied with my cuts before I found Gabe. They gave me my first short cut and since then I’ve been hooked - both on my new short hair and on Gabe as my barber. They’ve helped me fall in love with my hair and tap into the fun, creativity, and self-expression that a good hair cut can offer. I have been thrilled with every cut they’ve given me. 10/10 would recommend!!!

I've gone to Gabe several times for haircuts, and they always do a great job. I have short, curly hair, and it's a relief knowing they can work with my hair type. They create a warm, welcoming and easy-going atmosphere, which I always appreciate. And they are queer friendly, too! Easily one of the best -- can't recommend them enough.

I've never felt that awkward/mandatory small-talk that is so common in barbering environments - they always take the time to make meaningful connections & always make me feel safe and relaxed. Gabe has given me the best haircuts of my life and some of the best advice, too. In Gabe's chair, you feel heard and seen and valued immediately. I don't live in Victoria anymore but I still ask Gabe's opinion about my beard care and shaping, and about my life as well. They build lasting and caring relationships with their clients based entirely on consent and respect. Aces barber, aces human. Victoria, you're so frickin lucky!
