This review is coming from someone who has had a hard time loving their hair in the past. Taylor absolutely nailed it. I walked away feeling so confident. She did such a great job listening to what I want, and helping talk me through how I can style my hair. I felt really comfortable and safe sitting in her chair, and can’t wait for my next hair cut!

You could not ask for a better barbershop experience. This place is THE SPOT, and Joel is THE MAN! Not only did he give an amazing cut and fade, but he was such a dope guy to talk with and a top tier human being overall. The fact that it’s just a one-person-at-a-time shop makes it feel like a true VIP experience, and the amount of care he put into the haircut showed in that regard. Sincerely couldn’t recommend this place enough if you’re in Victoria. Wish I could be a regular there, thank you so much Joel & Cultured Swine! Support small local businesses?

This is the best place in the city to get a good haircut and Taylor is the best barber in town. Her assistant (Hambone) is just about the sweetest little assistant you can find. The shop is also very cute and very inviting.

I've now had my hair cut by both the barbers. They are highly skilled, attentive, and friendly. They asked what I wanted then repeated it back to me to confirm we were on the same page. Both cuts were the best I've had in years and I would recommend them to anyone.

Taylor has amazing vibes! The View St location is quiet and cute. As someone who is non-binary and anxious, I found Taylor to be very welcoming and did a great job with my hair. Highly recommended, especially if you're queer!
