I am updating a previous review of mine to 5 stars because I feel the service I got today and the quality of work was great here. This place within the past few years seems to have had staff changes for the better. I asked the lady to help me grow my natural nail by keeping the tips of my solar nail on and then putting shellac on top. I wasn't sure how that would go as the solar coating was thick but the lady I had sanded down the solar perfectly and made my nails look far more natural than expected. I am happy with my nails at this salon for the first time. My only mistake is not getting her name as I would want to book my future appointments with her. Thanks for the great job.

I got a new set of acrylics here and let me just say that I absolutely love them! I went in and showed them the design I wanted and the nail techs literally executed them to perfection. They were all super sweet and understood exactly what I wanted, and they were also super fast and so efficient. For quality nails, and a fast and great service for an affordable price, I would 100% recommend this place to get your nails done!!

I have gone to this place twice now I was super happy the first time this time however I wasn’t happy with the results. My nails are super thick and they missed painting the edges so ultimately makes them look bad. This was a fill not a new set and still cost almost 60$ due to a 10$ fee of adding glitter which they didn’t make me aware of while picking my colour. Personally I don’t think I’ll be going back.

beautiful nails but my gems fell off and multiple nails broke within 2 days. in the first week i had these nails i had to come back 3 times for broken nails and missing gems. the third time they charged me and said it was my fault the nails kept breaking. i’ve never had this happen before and ive had longer nails in the past. i won’t be coming back

I had an amazing experience at Elite Nails & Spa in Calgary three years ago, but my recent visit was an absolute disaster. The quality has seriously gone downhill. They damaged my nails and didn’t even remove my old nail polish properly.

After paying, I noticed the poor job and went back to ask them to fix it. The girl tried to “fix” it by shaving my nails down to paper-thin, which made things even worse. It’s also clear they aren’t following proper hygiene protocols – I witnessed nail fungus being passed around, and the environment was extremely unclean and unprofessional.

When I raised my concerns, the man (who I assume is the owner) shockingly told me to call the police instead of taking responsibility for the horrible job they did.

Do not go here under any circumstances. This was by far the worst nail salon experience I’ve ever had. Avoid this place unless you want to ruin your nails and waste your time and money!

UPDATE AFTER RESPONSE: I had no issue paying for the services. Service was not complete I did come back and the tech severely damaged my nails. Nothing is false or incorrect about my review. Police will be coming this week as requested!!

June '25 Update: The owner’s response here only proves my point. I had no issue paying for the services — I did pay. My concern was about the severe damage caused after I returned to have it fixed. What’s truly appalling is that instead of handling the situation professionally, the owner loudly told me to “call the police” in front of other customers, creating an unnecessary scene and refusing to take responsibility. That level of disrespect and lack of accountability is exactly why no one should trust this business.
