I had the pleasure of scheduling an appointment with Catherine.
Previously my hair was below shoulder length, and I wanted to revisit having a bob - something I've gotten a few times, most recently a few years ago. Catherine was incredible and gave me the prettiest bob hair cut I've had yet! 10/10

I've been going here for over 20 years and I've never left there disappointed. I usually have a loose idea of what I want and they nail it everytime. I have extremely curly hair and I'm always worried about it being cut too short but it's cut correctly everytime.

Honestly, I needed a hair cut so badly, and I wanted a perm for something different. I looked up perm specialist and found hair tec. I booked a consult, we determined my hair was healthy enough to go for it, so I made an appointment for Sept 11, 2924. The stylist, I think her name was Charlotte (not 100% sure), was able to perm my hair, but not style it, or teach me how…. I have been hesitant to post a review… but, here it is.

In summary, I paid $300 and left feeling so disappointed (check out the after photo you can see the disappointment on my face). My hair was frizzy the perm barely a wave, it essentially was a really expensive hair cut (took 9inches off, before photo provided).

It took a bit of self education to get around to understanding how to take care of curly hair, but this stylist lacked the education piece for the client, and I have to say, there’s NO way she’s proud of the work she did.

It was a complete let down. I was very specific that I did not want a straight across cut, but instead a v shape at the back to ensure layers… ?‍♀️

This was my experience and I think it’s important for others to know specifically if you’re wanting a change to give yourself a self love boost.

I do not recommend getting a perm + style at hair tec and expect to feel like a million bucks.
