I absolutely love coming here for piercings! The place is always clean and well organized. A great selection of jewelry pieces to choose from. Schantarra is amazing to work with! She is very knowledgeable, professional, and creative. She’s great at helping to find what’s needed for whatever vision you might have. Easy ordering other pieces that aren’t in the shop and the prices are right in line with the market. Always an enjoyable experience and the work is always done with utmost care for cleanliness and professionalism. Highly recommend this location and Schantarra for any piercings!!

I saw Dawn's artwork on the Human Kavas web site. On my first appointment, Dawn listened to my vision and created a wonderful representation of my words.
Dawn's (@inkydawn) creation was so good I was back at Human Kanvas 3 weeks later for tattoo number 2.
In all, Dawn draws inspiration from the subject. Human Kanvas Sunridge has a great atmosphere and technicians.
Highly recommend for not only the art but also the atmosphere.

Came in for a venom piercing today, honestly hands down the best customer service and reassurance with a piercing I had ever gotten. An amazing team you have over at Human Kanvas, thank you to Schantarra and her apprentice. Good job!!!!

I’ll give 5 stars for the tattoo outcome,
but maybe just 1 star for the pricing.

This isn’t about the shop itself, but about the artist, Manik, who did my tattoo in the Sunridge area. I arrived at the shop at 12:30 PM. After going through the design discussion and his sketching, we started the session at 2 PM and finished at 8 PM. That’s 6 hours of work, including a 30-minute break and a few 15-minute pauses throughout.

I’m not sure if it’s fair to charge me for a full-day session ($1,200), especially considering he only tattooed me for 6 hours (with some breaks)
-and it’s not even a full lower arm. There’s still a large area left untouched.

For comparison, my artist at Human Kanvas in Beacon Hill told me she only charges from the actual start of the session, which I thought was very fair and considerate. In contrast, with Manik, I felt like I was overcharged. That’s why I’m feeling a bit ripped off.

Their services are great, I’ve went there multiple times to get a nose piercing. But that’s not the issue, it’s their customer service or at least to me. I went there for the second time and I went there as a walk-in customer with my mother Just to pick out a nose Jewellery which wouldn’t take so much time, But the lady was being so passive, aggressive and rude towards my mom and I As if it felt racially motivated. They claim to be in a rush but we only took five minutes to choose something. It felt so odd to me
