30 minute pedicure for $70. Had to ask for basic cuticle work and nail shaping, as she tried to go directly for polish. Isabelle nail spa tried to have good customer service by bringing another staff member in when we called to book a time... but they lost their service when they charged every member of our group ~$20-40 more than what they quoted. Notably we had already added our only upgrade of a shellac pedicure instead of polish before the quotes.

Definitely not the best manicure I’ve received, but certainly the highest price. They didn’t have 3 colours so I kept having to choose a new one. As my nails were being filed I kept having to pull my hand with each finger due to the heat. The gel applied was bumpy and they charged extra for the Chrome even though it was not smooth. I would not consider going back.
There was a young man who did my pedicure. He was very pleasant and gave a great foot massage. That’s the only reason for any stars. I asked for square nails and they were uneven. It also looks like I have 1 week of growth the moment I left.

I got a recommendation from a friend to come here and get my nails done and they were horrible. They took me in Sunday on NYE when they were closed which i was grateful for, but I honestly left crying and she charged me $84 for the full set. Super disappointed these are unfortunately the worst nails I’ve ever gotten.

I went in for a manicure and pedicure and ended up with the worst manicure experience I have ever had. And a really bad pedicure job too!

I first had a regular pedicure, which was passable, although the cuticles were barely touched. But at least I got a decent foot massage and the color looks fine.

Edited: Please see the photo of my left foot. The polish isn’t even covering the entire nails!

For my gel manicure, I had 3 different technicians working on my nails! One sort of took care of the cuticles, although, again, barely. The other one used that horrid nail drill to remove the old gel polish. It was unpleasant and at times painful. Then the third lady came in to file the nails on my left hand and apply the polish. I requested to trim the nails and preserve the same shape. Instead of using clippers, she filed the nails down, which was also not very pleasant and longer than it could have taken had she just cut them. As the same lady was applying the gel polish on my left hand, the lady with the drill started filing down the nails on my right hand. She was told several times by the other technician that I wanted shorter length but the same shape. Guess what? The lady filed them down to a square shape, while the nails on my other hand were almond shaped. The other technician stepped in and sort of fixed it, but the nail length differs a bit. The gel polish on the right hand was applied so carelessly, it bled into the cuticle around the nails. The tech didn't bother to file down the rough edges and I had to ask her to do it. Also, after all that drilling and filing, she didn't even wipe my nails or hands, simply used some dry brush and started applying the polish. I didn't get a hand massage and had to ask if I could wash my hands after she was finished since I was covered in that nail dust.

When it was time to pay, I was completely taken aback when the bill was $89! With tip, this disaster cost me $120. I am visiting Calgary from Los Angeles, and a good regular pedicure and a gel manicure would have cost me $60 at any decent salon there. I am inclined to go elsewhere tomorrow to remove the poorly applied polish and redo it as I am embarrassed by my nails.
