First timer. Booked a haircut with Fabio. From wash, cut, and style it took about 1 hour which is great. Fabio was fantastic, efficient and attentive. I said I wanted a U-shaped cut with face framing layers. I came in with crazy long butt-length hair and I wanted a change but was nervous about how to go about it. He would initially check in with me about the length of hair being cut, but I left the rest of the details to his expertise. And I'm glad I did! He seemed to really enjoy his art, and I felt like I was in good hands. I dont like to talk too much in the chair, getting my hair done is kind of a relaxing thing for me than a social thing, so I appreciated that Fabio didnt force any conversation but his presence felt comfortable. The staff were friendly and cheerful, the lighting was inviting, and the music was nice and chill. I appreciated the coffee they gave me while I waited for my appointment to start. I took a peek at the other hairdressers tending to other clients and everyone looked fantastic, so it was nice to know I wouldnt be worried if Fabio wasnt available. All in all, Im very pleased and I will be coming back again.

When my old salon closed I was not driving to another region to get boring/never listen to me hair. One of the stylists there was going to Koi and said, come check me there (had seen her work at old salon) and let me tell you BEST DECISION I EVER MADE!!! Rachel took me from gross yucky hair to the colour I really wanted to my final style I have now and I always feel beyond sexy afterwards!!! The rest of the Koi team are so much fun and friendly I have a blast getting my hair done.
p.s. I have multiple shades of Purple hair now!!!

I had a really disappointing experience here. I showed a clear picture of the haircut I wanted, but the end result looked nothing like it. Not only was the style completely off, but both sides of my hair were uneven and looked like they were done by two different people. I tried to explain what I wanted, but it clearly wasn’t understood or considered. I left feeling frustrated and unhappy with a haircut I now have to grow out or get fixed somewhere else. Definitely wouldn’t recommend based on my experience. My hair stylist was Brie Diaz.

So I got my hair done from Sarah about a month ago, she first did my hair a year ago and treated it with so much care I absolutely loved it I came back and asked for the exact same thing (balayage) just with a bit more blonde, not only did she give me the wrong colour completely but she rushed through it didn’t blend any of the top so now the growth is so choppy but I acc had people point out that it wasn’t done properly. I had to go on my trip looking like this and I don’t think I’ve ever cried about my appearance before till this. I expressed my concern with the colour right away and she did tone it down but oh my now that the roots are coming, it grew naturally last year and it it absolutely terrible now, clearly rushed through. It almost felt like it was done on purpose cause it’s so obviously bad. I don’t usually write reviews but I’m so embarrassed I have to pay money to just dye it back to black now. I don’t trust coming back here and it’s so unfortunate
