Rick at Nightwind Tattoo Studio is a true master of his craft! With over 30 years of experience, he's an old-school tattoo artist who takes immense pride in his work. From making his own equipment to ensuring the shop is always spotless, Rick's dedication shines through. I've had the pleasure of getting over 9 tattoos done by Rick, and can attest to his exceptional skill and attention to detail. But what truly sets Rick apart is the way he's welcomed my family into his shop. My daughters, now in their mid-20s, grew up hanging out with me at Nightwind, watching and learning from Rick as he worked. He'd explain the process, show them the intricacies of tattooing, and even let them create their own artwork in the waiting area. We've built unforgettable memories together, and we're excited to add to them with an upcoming appointment for matching tattoos. Rick is an amazing artist. The shop is clean and when you walk in you see how many years experience he has. Very cool and friendly atmosphere. He is very picky on what he puts on your skin. He’s a no nonsense guy that will tell you you’re getting a tattoo for life and what it will look like later. I made the mistake of going to closer artists after we moved further away. Never again. When you get a tattoo from Rick, you get beautiful quality work. Colours stay for years. Love the conversations we have. I have three beautiful tattoos from him. He’s done some redos from other artists too. See you again soon!

So, I made a call to ask about a tattoo and boy, was Rick a delight to talk to! He was so friendly and energetic throughout the conversation. Even though I had no intention of getting a tattoo, he explained everything with such grace and enthusiasm. It was as if he genuinely enjoyed sharing his knowledge and love for the art. I couldn't help but admire his passion and the way he made me feel at ease, despite it being just a casual inquiry. Rick's positivity and warmth definitely made my day!

I have been getting my work done for the past 7 yrs now from Rick and have recommended not only my neighbours and personal friends but also close family members as I know they are extremely picky as I am. My work has been complimented by all who see (men and women) and I have never encountered a problem at his shop. He has always been a pleasure to deal with and he has always done fabulous work. He has also fixed a tattoo that was not to my satisfaction from many years back and it is perfect now! Many wonderful thanks to Rick. I would post my work if I knew how to.
