I ordered several large glass beads from Heather, owner of Purple Sparrow, to match some hand blown glass balls that I had bought a while ago. I wanted to make some sun catchers so needed larger beads that I wasn’t able to find anywhere else. I was thrilled when I found Purple Sparrow and in my city! Heather worked with me to create the size and colour of beads that I wanted. Her final product was better than I expected and made for perfect suncathcers!

My experience with Heather was amazing. I had memorial beads done for my family, and Heather was respectful and very patient with what I wanted for each family member. I would recommend Heather to anyone who wanted a one-of-a-kind piece of jewellery.

My mother died after a short illness and a friend said she heard about a glass artist who incorporated the ashes of loved ones into jewellery. I had an idea of what I wanted, but talking with Heather produced a much better bracelet than I could have imagined. I have received many compliments for the bracelet – and then I get the chance to explain its significance to me. Heather was so kind and so meticulous, and I am thrilled with the beautiful result of her work!
