It's just a lovely store.

It may be a throwback to an older time when storeowners curated a collection of mostly handcrafted things, but that doesn't mean it can't compete with the big box stores. It's in a much different segment than the mass market retailers but still has rational prices and has a broad selection.

The staff were also not only happy to be there, which is a rarity in retail these days, but also quite helpful.

I was fortunate enough to have a quick chat with the founder owner, and she was lovely as well.

I will definitely be going back.

Just finished the most pleasurable shopping experience at Rubaiyat.

The staff were incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable and professional throughout my visit and helped me make a perfect purchase.

What a unique and eclectic business, like walking through an art gallery or museum where everything’s for sale.

I’ll be back for more. Highly recommend popping your head in when on 17th Ave.
