I've been seeing Marissa since November 2021 for regular cuts in addition to a transition to natural grey hair. I've had consistently wonderful cuts and styling requires little effort on a daily basis. It took 2 years to grow out the previously dyed hair and the process was made SOOOO much easier with initial color removal and regular toning. My hair is the healthiest it has ever been and I get many compliments on both cut and color. Suburbian Studio is a high recommend from me!

I saw Marissa for my first time in late November 2024. I have short hair & I had an idea of how I wanted her to cut my hair. She cut my hair exactly how I described that I wanted it cut.

She listened & took the time to cut my hair & she did an amazing job ! She is so skilled at cutting hair as I can take care of my hair so easily when it has been cut well !! She also made me feel very comfortable in her home.
I will definitely go back to see her in January for another cut . I look forward to having her cut my hair again & getting to know my hair .
I am so glad that I found Marissa !! She is so awesome!!

Marissa is wonderful - she makes her clients feel very comfortable, and shares helpful tips for healthy hair and skin, without ever pushing products. She has been cutting and colouring my hair for at least 15 years now, and I thoroughly enjoy my bi-monthly appointments every time.

I have been going to Marissa for many years now and have always gotten incredible service. Apart from regular haircuts, she has coloured my hair blonde, ginger, brunette, and has done highlights. Each time she has explained in detail her process, so I always have a clear expectation. I have been extremely impressed at the results- It has always been way better than I could imagine. She is warm, easy to talk to, and I can’t imagine going to anyone else. I highly recommend going to Suburban Studios!
