Maria really took the time to listen to what I wanted—we even spent the night before texting and looking at photos. I felt so supported by her! It was a big change for me, and it turned out even better than I could have imagined. Not to mention, her new studio was stunning & so cozy! Couldn’t recommend her more!

Maria is the best! She took me from blonde to every shade in between and then back to my natural brunette, making the transition completely seamless. Every time I leave her chair, my hair looks fresh, natural, and exactly how I want it. She really listens and knows how to find the perfect shade for me, whether I’m going lighter, darker, or somewhere in between.

On top of that, she’s so friendly and makes every appointment enjoyable. If you’re looking for someone who truly understands color and makes the process easy, Maria is the best!

Warm, talented stylist & a stunning space to relax in!

Maria has been cutting my hair for about 10 years now. When I first came to her my colour was a mess, my cut was uneven, and the health of my hair was a wreck. But instead of judging me, or making me feel lesser than, which is so common in the beauty industry, she was kind, and caring, and took her time to help me understand how we would make it better, together.

Since then, I have never looked back. I have followed Maria to every salon she has worked at, completely loyal to her expertise, warm demeanor, and genuine passion for what she does.

Tesoro beauty has been Maria’s dream for a long time, and to finally see it come to fruition was an incredible experience.

You feel like you’re in a high-end Italian salon. The attention to detail, and the quality of products she uses are completely unmatched. She spent so long researching exactly which line she’d utilize, and I’m so glad she landed on Virute because it feels (and smells) amazing.

The location is so sweet, and makes you feel like you’re walking through an Italian corridor to get to your appointment. She’s got tea and coffee available, and everything about the space feels luxe, beautiful, and inviting.

Well done Maria (and Esjay!). Tesoro is in a league of its own, but you’ll always feel like family when you’re there. Exquisite.

My hair has never felt so healthy & shiny until I came to see Maria!! I’m always scared to get a haircut in case they cut too short but Maria was really respectful of my boundaries & I am absolutely obsessed with my hair!
