I used to have long waist length hair that are even in length and I wanted to have some layering with more volume. Patrick cut my hair in detail and with great patience using only scissors (no razor cutting!). The result was beautiful! I can even curl them for a softer look! I’m very happy with my new hair style! ?

My first visit to Patrick was in 2015 when I trusted him to drastically change the long hairstyle I’d had for many years. I had zero regrets. Since then, I’ve been going to Patty for 10 years, minus a little bit during Covid when I was buzzing my own hair. It didn’t look bad, but when I saw old photos of myself I missed the quality haircuts I was getting. I’ve retired the electric trimmer and I’ve been going back to Patrick since late 2024. As I now have a more professional job I can no longer cut my own hair. He always knows how to give me a great-looking and easy to maintain style, with me giving minimal input.

I had a disappointing experience at this barbershop. I asked for a simple haircut very short on the sides and back, gradually blended to the top but the barber refused, saying he doesn’t cut that way and even claimed it was “unprofessional.” He also admitted he didn’t know how to do it. Despite my clear instructions, he insisted he understood what I wanted but proceeded to cut my hair his own way, completely ignoring my request.

When I got home, I noticed many areas were unevenly cut, which was frustrating. While he wasn’t rude, his overconfidence didn’t match his skills. I hope he takes the time to improve his techniques or hires someone who actually knows the craft instead of just talking.

I should have listened to a friend who had a similar bad experience here last year. Unfortunately, because it was the closest shop, I gave it a try but I won’t be returning. It felt like going to a barbershop without a real barber.
