went here and got my nails done as a creeper from minecraft to go see the movie and they were so nice about it and did my nails so well! great staff, really comfortable environment and i highly recommend this place to anyone looking to get their nails done!

I’ve been going to Uptown for more than a year and every time I come I leave super happy! I go to Kate for powder dip nails and it’s clear how knowledgeable and skilled she is. She’s quick and efficient in her work and very friendly (but also lets me zone out and relax while she works lol) and I’m always very comfortable during the service.

I’m terrible at booking ahead of time but the front staff are always great at accommodating me at the times I’m looking for. I usually see the owner when I come and she’s always so friendly and respectful to everyone that comes through the door. If you’re not sure if you should visit, I highly recommend Kate and this salon.

There are a few reasons I’m rating them a 2 star.
The obvious, you feel like you are in a factory
The girls are so rushed that the cleanness is just not there, jars were dirty and gummed up, reused nail files, not sure if anything is sanitized or sterilized.
My nails are not smooth at the cuticle. As a result my hair catches on them when I wash my hair
I had to ask her to smooth out the underside of my nails
The price is $15 over most other nail salons.
I did not leave a tip for these reasons.
