We recently took our son for his mundan ceremony, and I can’t express enough how grateful and happy we are with the entire experience, all thanks to mr.vijay This was a very special and emotional moment for our family, and he handled it with such grace, care, and professionalism.

the way he connected with baby was truly impressive. He took his time, never rushed, and ensured that not only the haircut but also the spiritual and cultural importance of the mundan was fully respected.
Highly, highly recommend to any family looking for someone experienced, compassionate, and respectful of traditional ceremonies.

I came across Vijay Barber while looking for some other services in that area. I got my hair cut first time with him (Sept. 14, 2024) and he did exactly in the same style that I use to get back home.

He did entire hair cut with scissors only on my request, very patient, calm, knowledgeable about customer requirements and will ask in between if we like it so far.
He's currently doing hair cuts in his basement but will soon have a brand new setup in his garage.

He also has "Journeyman certification" and licensed business (see attached pictures).

Till I leave Calgary, he's going to be my go to barber.

I highly recommend anyone who wants to get good hair cut with "scissors" which is a forgotten skill these days at salons.

Plenty of open and free parking in front of his home.

Thank you so much for wonderful mundan of my daughter. I highly recommend him as he is so patient and gives kids their space while doing mundan. My daughter is 1.5 years old and did not shed a single tear in the mundan ceremony.
Such wonderful work he does with utmost patience!
