We bought our first home with shane in cornerstone on march 28,2022, buying process was easy and we were given assurance of everything untill we moved in our house. Dissapointment over dissappointment, I am still dealing with plumbing issues after 5 months of moving in. My taps were not ordered on time, my basement rough ins were forgotten, my light fixtures were delayed and we have a leaking toilet already. Their vendor Canyon plumbing is the worst to deal with. Our order was not put in for a month and a half therefore our taps got delayed for more than 2 months. I had to send 100 emails to follow up. Now I am going back and forth regardind the leaking toilet. Our drive way is built with a step up to the front door which is strange and when asked, I was told it was in the plan, well I dont know how to read the plan, the person selling me the home could have explained me the weired transission that I now have to live with for 15 years. And this is just a few problems to name.

I bought my first house with genesis builders and my experience with after warranty with them was amazing.

Please don't buy with shane, if you do, please have everything in written, read your blue prints carefully and have your orders with their vendors in on time coz they will not take responsibility for anything.

I have emails from our selections at Canyon Plumbing that took 28 days from them to respond and put in the order, please don't blame this on supply chain.

I now have siding coming off from one side of our house and just noticed our telepost leaning on one side. Adding more photos.

Warning: Avoid Shane Homes at All Costs

I had an absolutely terrible experience with Shane Homes, and I would strongly advise anyone considering them to look elsewhere. They are, without a doubt, the WORST home builder I’ve ever encountered. The entire process was riddled with delays, poor communication, and subpar workmanship.

The quality of construction is appalling — everything from crooked walls to leaky plumbing. It’s clear they cut corners at every step, and their customer service is no better. They refused to address issues and acted as if they were doing me a favor by even acknowledging my concerns.

If you value your time, money, and sanity, DO NOT build with Shane Homes. This is a warning to anyone thinking of trusting them with your dream home. You'll be left with nothing but regrets and headaches.

Shane Homes is the absolute worst home builder out there. If I could give them negative stars, I wouldn’t hesitate. The entire experience was a nightmare from start to finish. They have no regard for quality, timelines, or customer satisfaction.

The house they built for me is full of flaws — uneven floors, poorly installed fixtures, and constant issues that shouldn’t exist in a brand-new

home. Their so-called “customer service” is just as bad, if not worse. Every time I reached out to address these problems, I was met with excuses and empty promises.

Shane Homes clearly prioritizes profit over quality and customer care. Save yourself the stress, frustration, and disappointment — avoid this company at all costs. I wouldn’t recommend them to my worst enemy.
