Shanene gave me the best hair cut I have ever gotten! She is very very educated and really cares about your hair! She wants to do what is the absolute best for your hair and also what you want! I would never go to anyone else now and would highly recommend her to anyone!

I was referred to Shanene by a co-worker. She was always coming back from her with gorgeous blond hair. I was new to the city and at the time I was looking for someone that could also handle wilder colors. Her Instagram @shanenesaffairwithhair convinced me that she could take on the task of me going rose gold. She not only gave me what I wanted but also gave me options on how to achieve my goal with different ways and different cost price range. She was very honest and educational on what options would look like and how certain techniques would give me the result I had in mind while not breaking the bank. I have been going back to her ever since. A few years later i decided to transition back to my natural blond and she had an amazing way of doing a half natural/half rose gold that looks so good and allowed me to grow it for a while till I was ready to remove all the pink. Now I showed up to her with this crazy idea of going ginger and she is so supportive and invested in my journey. I tought i would have had to bleach my dirty blond in order to achieve my goal but she has such great knowledge of color correction that she is able to do it without bleach and lowering the cost I expected to pay! I am having so much fun experiencing with this color and I appreciate that she is too. I always have a great time and great conversations with her. I am thrilled that she got her own salon and I guarantee she is worth going to!

Shanene has been cutting and colouring my hair for about 2 years now and I would not go to anyone else. Prior to finding her I never found a stylist that I would go back to, but Shanene fills me with confidence, makes me laugh, and leave me feeling beautiful every time. She is knowledgeable, professional, and creative. Often times I'll come with pictures of what I would like and she fits it to my hair and style exactly and always checks in to make sure I am happy. I highly recommend her!

My regular hairdresser of many years moved to BC and I was nervous at the idea of finding someone new. After some research on Google I made an appointment with Shanene, and I’m so glad I did! My hair changed due to health problems and age, and I’ve really had to adjust to the thinning and darker color. Shanene was extremely knowledgeable and made suggestions based on those changes. She patiently listened to any of my concerns and answered all my questions before starting the process of a cut, highlights and style. When done, all I could say was OMG! For the first time in years I felt beautiful! She also made suggestions for me to achieve the same result at home. I highly recommend Shanene to anyone wanting a hairdresser who is down to earth and has the ability and expertise to deliver what you want.
