Unique and quality boots made in Mexico. A lot of options so you better know what you like! Would definitely recommend, the price matches the quality. Happy I finally purchased my first cowgirl boots from Lammle’s!

Went to the crowfoot terrace location and found some cool stuff and checked out, the girls were super nice however when we went to the back of the store by the hat wall to get an extra hole punched into our belt, the older guy behind the till with the outfitter name tag was very impersonal with us while having smiles and conversations with everyone else, when we asked him if we could get the hole punched he just looked at us annoyed and didn’t even say anything, my partner just kinda waited for him to say something?? He just kept silent with an annoyed face that just came off pretty rude, we felt like we were bothering him compared to how we saw him talking to others. Doesn’t help that my partner is indigenous and this just felt like a personal issue.

I was excited to purchase a pair of cowboy boots, as I haven’t purchased some for over 10 years. I went to the Stephen’s Ave., Lammle’s location and walked into the store, and no one greeted me. There was a female employee sitting at the front of the store, sitting on a chair, head down scrolling on her cell phone. I thought that was very odd? She didn’t even look up from her cell phone. No acknowledgment. I walked to the back of the store to start looking at cowboy boots, and there was another female associate ( Alex), putting away boots on the boot wall. I was right beside her, looking up at the boot wall, and she didn’t say anything to me, no acknowledgement, greeting, nothing whatsoever. I grabbed a pair of boots that were already on the ground in a stack. I finally decided to ask her a question, about the fit of the boot. Her response was basically “what”, and pretty harsh, almost annoyed at me and rude tone. She then started explaining the fit of the boot in a very rushed way. I packed up the boots and walked towards the cashier. And she stated “oh you’re gonna get those boots?”. And I responded “yes”, as I was pretty annoyed at her very rude demeanor. I went to the cashier to pay and another sales associate (Desiree), asked if anyone helped me with my purchase ? And I informed her no one helped me at all. She apologized for the lack of service and was very friendly and helpful. She made me try on the boots in front of her, and see the fit. The boots were actually the wrong size, and she re- fitted me with the correct size. If it wasn’t for Desiree’s service, I would’ve been completely turned off with the company’s lack of service- as it was a very poor experience for someone who spent 300$ on boots. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend Lammle’s, due to this negative interaction with the employees. Makes the company look very bad and unprofessional.

I was excited to purchase a new pair of boots as a wanted something special to remember my recent trip to Calgary as it marked something meaningful to me, however, I instead experienced the worst customer service I’ve ever had. Clearly a group of very young employees were unhelpful, rude and disrespectful. The staff was off in a corner only speaking amongst themselves, and when I went to approach them and ask for assistance they laughed at me, provided no help and continued to chat with one another. I walked out and will never be back.
