I have had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The open display cases take away a lot of the anxiety out of ring shopping. Everyone has been very helpful and has made our visits a great experience. Thank you specially to Shane for helping us look for a matching band for my engagement ring. Had a wonderful experience with Scott at Spence, he was incredibly helpful on my journey to find the perfect engagement ring, from helping find the right style, to a full education on how the diamonds are cut, graded, and selected for your specific ring. I took time to think about everything with no pressure from him and placed the order when I was ready, the ring was crafted and arrived even more perfect than I had imagined. Would recommend Scott and Spence to anyone in the market for jewelry of any kind they can help you get something that will last a lifetime.

A HUGE thank you to our guy, D’Artagnan who was lovely to speak to, with open transparency, we did not feel pressured or judged. He was very attentive and inviting, as he listened to what both me and my fiancé has in terms of expectations for my proposal. I highly recommend the options put out and the patience he took to help me go through some options. Special side shout out to Michelle who was helping out as well, as I picked almost every oval ring in the store to view. I added our engagement photos so that he gets to see how happy we were and how important his role was.

Amazing first time experience.. not only did I get the celebration ring of my dreams but I also got more transferable knowledge on diamonds and gold. The Spence diamond locations was something that makes the entire picking out process fun. Mark was amazing person to work with and allowed us to know the differences of lab grown and natural diamonds. — which is something that is very interesting to know about from a knowledgeable person’s perspective. If you have any type of special occasion to enjoy some beautiful diamonds head on to Spence diamonds you will not be disappointed!!

I have had nothing but problems with the jewellery I bought at Spence Diamonds.

First I got my engagement ring here and one week after having it the main large diamond fell out and thank god I saw it happen and caught it. It was repaired only to have two small diamonds fall out in the next few months. They were also repaired and more fell out. We asked that the ring be entirely rebuilt. After that, more small diamonds fell out regularly and had to be replaced.

Finally, fed up I took the ring to another Calgary jeweller and they said all the prongs holding the diamond were bent, in places where I would have put no wear AND the outer prongs were so worn down by Spence’s over polishing that more diamonds would also fall out soon.

Also during this time frame, my husband bought me a beautiful tennis bracelet from Spence. Shortly after getting it I took it in as the clasp was bending and coming undone easily. They sent it in to be supposedly looked at, I picked it up and that week, it fell off and I never found it.

My advice, stay away!
