I had an amazing experience with NIWE Academy, especially thanks to Gurpreet, who supported me every step of the way. From the very beginning, she was kind, professional, and always ready to answer my questions and guide me through the registration process.

Her communication was clear and helpful, which made everything so much easier and stress-free. I truly felt welcomed and valued as a future student.

This review is for Ridhima. She gave me a microdermabrasion and eye brow tint.
Her service was amazing. She is very professional, explained to me the steps and was extremely knowledgeable.
My skin looks amazing, and I highly recommend her for any services she offers .
Update April 28-
Today I went back to the salon and had the body wrap with Ridhima , and it was exceptional!
Absolutely a glorious experience!
Cleanings of the skin , scrub, wrap, massage - outstanding service . Book with Ridhima !

Just completed my barber course here. Great environment, super supportive staff and mentors. Nothing but good vibes. Terri is an amazing mentor!!. Tony and Asia are also super helpful and they completely bring a calm and relaxed atmosphere to the academy. 10/10, would recommend ??

took the 4 month barbering course and loved every minute of it! The girls at the front desk - Asia and Amy create such a welcoming environment every time you walk into NIWE.
However, my experience would have never been what it was if it wasn’t for my amazing teacher and mentor Terri-Lee, she is the epitome of what a great teacher is - has the patience of a saint, passionate and highly
skilled. She puts herself in students’ shoes, so that she can teach in a way that someone like me (had absolutely NO barbering experience) can now start my new journey as a confident apprentice in the industry. I feel so grateful to have had the privilege to have been taught by her and would recommend any aspiring barber to take the course!

I regret attending this barbering school. My friends and I received low-quality training that didn’t match the promises made when we enrolled. The instructors seemed more interested in rushing us through than actually teaching us proper skills. On top of that, they sold us a barbering kit they claimed was “professional quality” for $1,100, but when we checked the market value, it turned out to be worth only around $400 — and the tools were cheap, low-grade, and poorly packaged.

To make things worse, while other reputable barbering schools in Canada provide full professional kits that include cordless clippers and trimmers (worth up to $1,000 CAD or more), this school failed to provide us with even the basic quality gear expected for professional training.

This school feels more like a business trying to profit off students rather than truly preparing them for a successful career in barbering. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who wants real value for their time, money, or future.
